Sweetie Cakes & Pies is located in Atlanta, GA in the Douglasville area.  We are happy to serve all of Atlanta though.  We love the process of creating cakes for people and seeing their faces when we show them the final product.  If you are interested in placing an order or find about more about our cakes please e-mail us at sweetiecakesandpies@gmail.com.

Cakes are our specialty but you’ll notice a lot more on this blog.  Along with cakes you’ll find that we dabble in some other culinary arenas. After living in London for six months after graduating from college and we fell in love with British pub grub, mostly meat pies. We got to thinking about what other wonderful savory foods could go in a pie and we experiment.  The results of those experiments can be found periodically here on the blog.

In addition to this, we have a little tradition called Fat Friday and Make Up Monday.  Fat Friday post are a treat that kicks off the weekend in high calorie style.  This is meant to be fun and break all diets!  Make Up Monday is the challenge.  We take an ingredient from the previous week’s Fat Friday and create a healthy treat.  It is very experimental and most of the time it doesn’t quite work out the way it is suppose to.  So check back regularly to follow those adventures.

Thanks, I totally needed to hear that right now. I’m in the middle of making a massive cake with moving parts! I’ve had moments today where I thought I’ve taken on more than I can handle. So thanks for the compliment!

Hi there.Firstly your cakes look fantastic! I was really just looking for some help, I was wondering where you brought the moving snowboarder and track from and whether they do any skier ones?

    Thanks please reply

Hi! Thank you! Sorry for my delayed response. We made the snowboarder and track. The track is a little kids Kennects set that we manipulated for this purpose and the snowboarder is gum past. I hope that helps!
